While in college, Mikayla came fully alive in her faith through the community she formed at the St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center. It was during this time that Mikayla got involved with FOCUS. Upon graduation from college, Mikayla served as a FOCUS missionary full-time for two years and for an additional year as an affiliate.

After moving back to Nebraska, Mikayla pursued her Masters Degree in Business Analytics. She completed her Masters in 2021 and worked for Nelnet as a Data Analyst. Feeling called to utilize her talents for the Church, Mikayla left Nelnet and is currently contracting for FOCUS, as well as serving on the team here at Sacred Heart Consulting.

Mikayla and Brendon reside in Lincoln, NE with their four children.
